Porsche Race Car Hand-Painted Limoges Box

A Porsche race car, low and ready to roar off the starting line, takes the checkered flag in porcelain. The car was painted by hand in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box for motorsport fans.

Built for the Track

Porsche has a long racing history, with legendary wins at Le Mans, the Targa Florio and countless club races around the world. A race car in miniature captures that heritage of speed and engineering, and it instantly speaks to anyone who has followed endurance racing or spent a Sunday at the track. Car club members often recognize the silhouette at a glance.

Victory Lap Occasions

Give it to a car enthusiast for a birthday, a new driver celebrating a license, a racing team member, or a retiree finally buying a sports car. It looks sharp on a garage office shelf, a desk or a den bookcase beside racing books and model cars.

Old Craft, Fast Subject

Small porcelain boxes became fashionable in eighteenth-century France for carrying snuff, pills and beauty patches, a tradition that now embraces subjects as modern as a race car.
