A brown dog, modeled in porcelain with a warm coat of painted color, forms this small figurine box. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, for anyone who keeps a faithful pup close to heart.
Good Boy in Porcelain
Dogs are among the most loved subjects in Limoges boxes, and a brown dog has an easy, familiar charm. Many owners see a bit of their own companion in a piece like this, whether their dog is a mixed breed from the shelter or a pedigreed show winner.
Fetching a Place on the Shelf
Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
A natural fit for a dog or pet themed collection
Works well with leash, dog bowl and doghouse pieces
Paws on the Mantel
Keep it near a framed photo of the family dog, on a desk at the veterinary office, or on a bookshelf next to dog-themed titles. It is a kind remembrance after the loss of a pet, a thank-you for a dog walker or groomer, or a birthday present for a friend whose dog rules the house.
